Bios

Here are a few fun facts you may or may not already know about us.

Tim works for Best Buy Co, Inc. at their corporate headquarters, managing purchasing and demand planning for the Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) team. Originally from Wilton, IA, he went to Iowa State University, graduating with a B.A. in Art & Design in 2000. Tim is also copmpleted his Masters in Management from Hamline University in August 2007. Melissa is currently employed as a veterinarian working with Dr. Paul Weitz practicing equine medicine. Originally from, well, technically Des Moines, but growing up in Ralston, NE, St. Charles, MO and Deland, FL, she too went to Iowa State University, graduating in 2002 with a B.S. in Zoology. She then got her D.V.M. in 2007 from the University of Minnesota. Aside from her love of animals, Mel also enjoys drawing and photography. Check out her gallery of work.

The couple met as students at Iowa State when Mel rented a room for the summer at Tim's fraternity, Theta Xi (or as Mel's family refers to it; Animal House). Shortly after getting married on May 3, 2003, Tim and Melissa moved to Roseville, MN. In January of 2005, they purchased their first home in Minneapolis where they currently reside.
